Karan is a Senior Investment Associate at JSW Ventures where he assists in deal sourcing of high growth companies, due diligence and executing venture transactions in India.

In his previous role, Karan was a Vice President at InnoVen Capital where he spent time investing in industries such as Logistics, B2B Managed Marketplaces, D2C brands, Agritech and Fintech. His portfolio included InfraMarket (Series A), Zetwerk (Series A), FarMart (Pre-Series A), Xpressbees (Series B), Reshamandi (Pre-Series A) and late stage investments such as Pepperfry, Chaayos and Dealshare.

Karan has extensive exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions, Valuations and Industry Analysis for both mature and high growth companies. He has also worked as a Deal Advisory Valuations Analyst working on cross- industry engagements encompassing PE portfolio reviews, business valuations and live equity- carve outs for publicly listed clients. He is also an active public markets portfolio manager investing in Indian equities, holds the CAIA Charter and is currently a CFA Level III candidate.

Karan graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst with a double major in Finance and Economics. In his free time, he loves to watch football (always a Red Devil), meet new people with new ideas and travel to exciting places.
